The Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm developers entered into a contract with Carillion Utility Services Limited for the supply and installation of the onshore export cables, providing the onshore cable sections that form part of the Dudgeon OFTO transmission link between the Weybourne landfall and the new onshore substation at Necton. The contract covered both provision of the onshore export cables and their installation works, and was included in Ofgem’s ex‑ante cost review of the Dudgeon transmission assets.
