VBMS installed two 42 km 132 kV three-core submarine export cables for the Dudgeon offshore transmission system, connecting the offshore substation to the landfall at Weybourne Hope. ABB supplied the cables, which were delivered by March 2016. VBMS carried out pre-lay grapnel runs from February 2016 to clear the route, followed by cable laying through to completion in September 2016, as confirmed in Ofgem's Preliminary Information Memorandum for the Dudgeon OFTO tender.
