Description
Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Company (ZTT) received the EPIC main contract for the AC submarine cable grid connection system associated with Ørsted’s 242 MW Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm and the DolWin kappa HVDC offshore substation, which is the offshore hub of TenneT’s DolWin6 grid connection. The contract, awarded on behalf of end client TenneT, covers engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the 155 kV AC submarine export cable system linking the Gode Wind 3 offshore substation to DolWin kappa. As a submarine cable specialist, ZTT’s scope includes manufacture and supply of the high‑voltage AC export cables as well as turnkey offshore installation and commissioning. This is a construction‑phase contract integrating design and supply of the offshore grid connection cables that feed power into the DolWin6 HVDC link.
