Description
Hitachi Energy was awarded work for DolWin5 by the Aibel/Keppel FELS consortium as the HVDC technology provider. Its scope included design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the onshore converter station in Emden, and the production, installation and commissioning of HVDC converter technologies on the offshore converter station, including major HVDC equipment such as converter valves, transformers and high-voltage switchgear.
