In June 2019, Prysmian Group secured a contract worth around EUR 140 million from TenneT to supply, install, and commission the 320 kV HVDC submarine and land export cable system for the 900 MW DolWin5 grid connection, including approximately 30 km of land cable, 100 km of subsea cable, and associated fibre optic cables linking the DolWin epsilon platform to the Emden/Ost converter station, with project completion then scheduled for mid‑2024.
