As general contractor for DolWin3, Alstom (now part of GE Vernova) placed an order with Nordic Yards in February 2013 for the construction of the offshore converter platform DolWin gamma, covering basic and detailed engineering, fabrication, transport, and installation of the HVDC platform for TenneT’s 900 MW grid connection.
