Description
TenneT awarded J-Power Systems, together with Siem Offshore Contractors, a contract to supply, install and commission the 155 kV HVAC grid connection system for the Innogy Nordsee 1 offshore wind farm as part of the DolWin2 cluster. J-Power Systems’ role focused on the manufacture and supply of two three-core 155 kV submarine composite export cables running between the Nordsee 1 offshore substation and the DolWin beta offshore converter platform. The contract covered production and delivery of around 15 km of subsea cable for this generation export link, which was then installed and commissioned during the construction phase to feed Nordsee 1’s power into the DolWin2 HVDC system.
