On 14 January 2026, RWE secured 20‑year UK Contracts for Difference for the Dogger Bank South projects, including the 1.5 GW Dogger Bank South West phase, in Allocation Round 7. The CfDs, awarded at a strike price of £91.20/MWh in 2024 prices and inflation‑indexed, cover both DBS West and DBS East with a combined capacity of 3 GW and are expected to support commissioning of DBS West in 2031 and DBS East in 2032.
