Fugro has completed the geotechnical site investigations for the eastern array of RWE and Masdar’s 3GW Dogger Bank South wind farm off north-east England, deploying five vessels to collect seabed samples down to 50 metres to inform turbine and platform foundation design. Following completion of the offshore campaign, the work has moved into laboratory testing and reporting to process the data ahead of design decisions.
