As part of The Crown Estate’s third offshore wind leasing round in 2008, the Dogger Bank Zone, located 125–290 km off the east coast of Yorkshire, was identified as one of nine UK offshore wind development zones, providing the wider seabed area within which the later Dogger Bank D project is situated.
