In January 2010, the Forewind consortium formed by SSE, RWE, Statoil and Statkraft was announced as the developer for the Crown Estate’s Dogger Bank Zone under the UK’s Round 3 licensing, formally establishing the offshore development zone from which the Dogger Bank Teesside A project, later renamed Dogger Bank C, was taken forward.
