Dogger Bank C, the third 1.2GW phase of the 3.6GW Dogger Bank offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea, is scheduled to achieve first power in the third quarter of 2025. The project partners state that first power is “anticipated in Q3, 2025,” with full power to follow in the first quarter of 2026, marking the transition from construction and installation into commissioning and early operations. This timing sits within the CfD delivery year 2024/25 previously secured for Dogger Bank B and C, and is aligned with the wider construction sequence that sees offshore export cables, platforms, foundations and turbines installed between 2024 and 2025. The phase is being developed by a joint venture of SSE Renewables, Equinor and Eni as part of what is expected to be the world’s largest offshore wind farm when fully built out. Dogger Bank C alone is designed to generate around 6TWh of renewable electricity annually over an expected operational life of about 35 years. The Q3 2025 first‑power target is reiterated by independent project coverage, which confirms that initial generation and export to the UK national grid are planned for that quarter, with the wind farm becoming fully operational in Q1 2026. These milestones frame the project’s commissioning schedule and revenue ramp‑up profile.
