Description
Aibel was confirmed to provide the offshore HVDC converter platform for the Dogger Bank C phase of Dogger Bank Wind Farm (the Teesside-connected phase). Aibel’s scope covered EPCI for the lean-design, normally unmanned offshore platform including the steel jacket substructure and topside, intended to house the HVDC equipment. Aibel manufactured and supplied the Dogger Bank C platform and delivered it for offshore installation and subsequent commissioning activities as part of the HVDC transmission link for phase C.
