On 29 August 2013, Forewind submitted to the Planning Inspectorate a Development Consent Order (DCO) application under the Planning Act 2008 for Dogger Bank Creyke Beck, comprising two offshore wind farms, Creyke Beck A and Creyke Beck B, with a combined capacity of up to 2.4 GW connecting to the existing Creyke Beck substation in East Yorkshire, following more than three years of surveys, research, consultation and reporting.
