Offshore construction for Dogger Bank B commenced around 5 April 2023, when Heerema Marine Contractors’ semi-submersible crane vessel Thialf arrived at the Dogger Bank A & B site to install jacket foundations for the two offshore substations. The vessel was scheduled to work at the Dogger Bank Wind Farm area from 5 April to approximately 1 May under Saipem’s transportation and installation contract for the Dogger Bank A and B substations delivered by Aibel.
