Turbine installation for Dogger Bank A commenced in August 2023, with the first GE Vernova Haliade‑X 13 MW units being installed at the offshore site approximately 130 km off the Yorkshire coast. This followed earlier contractual arrangements for GE to supply and install 95 Haliade‑X 13 MW turbines for Dogger Bank A and was confirmed by subsequent reporting that the first turbine was in place and producing power by October 2023.
