By mid-May 2024, Dogger Bank Wind Farm and tier-one contractor Seaway7 had completed installation of all 95 transition pieces on Dogger Bank A, concluding the full foundation installation campaign for the first phase of the project. The transition pieces, manufactured by Sif and Smulders and installed around 80 miles off the Yorkshire coast, were the final elements needed to finish the monopile-based foundations that will support Dogger Bank A’s GE Vernova Haliade‑X turbines.
