For the multi-project submarine cable framework covering the Dodecanese and North Aegean electrical interconnections, including the Rhodes–Karpathos link, IPTO moved into the final phase of its tender in January 2025 and received binding financial and technical offers from participating companies on 26 February 2025. The framework, with an initial budget of EUR 1.7 billion (plus VAT) and a six-year duration from contract signing, will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous offer.
