Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) completed the marine surveys for the Dodecanese electrical interconnection, which will connect Kos, Rhodes and Karpathos to the mainland grid via Corinth in two phases. These marine surveys, covering the subsea cable routes and thus including the Rhodes (Thermal Power Station)–Karpathos Phase B segment, were finished in December 2024 as part of project development for the Dodecanese and Northeastern Aegean interconnections.
