225 kV HVAC export cable system for Dieppe–Le Tréport: two 23.5 km subsea 225 kV three-core export cables (47 km offshore total) plus 18 km onshore section; turnkey design, manufacture, installation/protection and long-term IMR for client RTE.
Nexans was awarded a turnkey contract by RTE to deliver the 225 kV HVAC export cable system for the Dieppe–Le Tréport offshore wind farm grid connection. The scope covered the design/engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, burial/protection, and commissioning activities for the export link, including two 23.5 km subsea 225 kV three-core export cables (47 km total offshore cable supplied) and an onshore section comprising 18 km of 225 kV land cable. Nexans’ scope also included long-term inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) services; in February 2026, Nexans reported that it had formally handed over both 225 kV export cable circuits to RTE, marking completion of delivery and transition into the warranty/long-term maintenance phase.
