Northland Power Inc. completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in British Wind Energy GmbH, the company owning the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind project, from Highland Group Holdings Ltd. This transaction transferred full project ownership to Northland and formed part of a wider €1.3 billion project development and financing package for the 252 MW Deutsche Bucht wind farm in the German North Sea.
