Windreich’s subsidiary British Wind Energy GmbH, the then-owner of the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm, reached an agreement with transmission system operator TenneT TSO GmbH for a temporary grid connection. Under this arrangement, Deutsche Bucht will be connected to TenneT’s BorWin2 converter station until the originally planned BorWin4 link is completed, with TenneT remaining responsible for the converter stations and AC cable works.
