TenneT delivered the grid connection infrastructure referenced for DanTysk via the offshore HVDC converter platform SylWin alpha and the associated transmission link to shore. Sources stated that TenneT operated SylWin alpha and built a new onshore substation at Büttel, Schleswig-Holstein, connected via a 160 km sea cable and a 45 km land cable, enabling export of power from the wind farm into the onshore grid.
