Deutsche Windtechnik won an EU tender run by DanTysk Sandbank Offshore Wind GmbH & Co. KG to provide comprehensive offshore service work across DanTysk and Sandbank. The cooperation agreement included, for the first time, maintenance and repair works for the Siemens SWT-3.6 MW turbines at DanTysk (80 units), as well as maintenance of transition pieces, lifts and cranes, and inspections in both wind farms. The contract term was stated as two years with extension options, with works starting in April 2022 from Esbjerg using an SOV and the DanTysk accommodation platform for logistics.
