Vattenfall began installing the first Siemens 3.6 MW wind turbine on the previously constructed foundations at the DanTysk offshore wind farm in mid-April 2014, initiating the turbine installation campaign for all 80 units. The work followed completion of the monopile foundations in the German North Sea site west of Sylt.
