Construction of an offshore accommodation platform to house up to 50 service technicians for the DanTysk wind farm began in 2015, providing a permanent offshore base linked by bridge to the DanTysk substation to support long‑term operations in the remote North Sea location. The platform, designed as a multi-storey steel structure, enables crews to live and work near DanTysk and neighbouring Sandbank without daily transfers from shore.
