Lavrio–Serifos 150 kV three-core XLPE HVAC submarine cable, approximately 109.3 km subsea plus short underground sections at each landfall, forming an island link between Lavrio GIS and Serifos GIS.
Asso.subsea was contracted by IPTO, in collaboration with Hellenic Cables, to execute the offshore installation works for the Lavrio–Serifos and Serifos–Milos 150 kV HVAC interconnections under Cyclades Phase D. For the Lavrio–Serifos link, Asso.subsea carried out geophysical and geotechnical pre-lay surveys, seabed preparation, laying of the three-core 150 kV submarine cable along a route of about 109 km, landfall operations at Lavrio and Serifos, offshore jointing, and post-lay protection and burial using its dedicated cable-laying and trenching vessels and tools. This marine installation scope formed a key phase in bringing the Lavrio–Serifos island-link cable into service.
