On 16 December 2019, IPTO (ADMIE) successfully completed the electrification of the new 150 kV AC submarine cable connecting Andros to Evia, marking first power flow on the upgraded Evia–Andros interconnection and strengthening the North Power Supply Corridor of the Cyclades.
