IPTO/ADMIE placed the submarine interconnection on the Andros–Tinos section into full operation, providing a double supply circuit for Andros and enhancing the security of its electricity supply. The operator notes that the subsea Andros–Tinos link entered full service a few days before the article, following earlier electrification of the cable between Andros and the mainland system (Evia).
