In early 2020, the upgrade of the submarine interconnections between Andros and Livadi (southern Evia) and between Andros and Tinos was completed, replacing the existing oil-filled cables with new 150 kV XLPE AC submarine cables rated at 200 MVA over lengths of approximately 14.5 km and 4 km respectively, implemented in parallel with Phase B of the Cyclades interconnection.
