Description
TotalEnergies awarded Archer Wind a contract for the Culzean floating offshore wind pilot project to deliver the floating wind foundation and execute the EPCIC scope, covering engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the single-turbine 3 MW floating wind unit located about 2 km west of the Culzean platform in the UK central North Sea. Archer Wind progressed detailed engineering and began fabrication activities in November 2024, with offshore installation planned for late 2025 and target operation by end-2025.
