Description
Archer Wind was awarded a contract by TotalEnergies for the Culzean Wind Pilot to deliver the floating wind foundation and execute the project on an EPCIC basis, covering engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning for the single 3 MW floating wind turbine system located near the Culzean platform in the UK North Sea. Installation was planned for late 2025, with Archer Wind progressing detailed engineering and engaging fabrication and assembly subcontractors. The pilot was described as being built, installed and commissioned by Archer Wind for TotalEnergies and connected to the Culzean gas platform via an approximately 2 km export cable.
