Cerulean Aspen targets offshore Section 36 and Marine Licence consent grant in 2026, aligning with the developer's published FID-in-2026 target. The Section 36 / Marine Licence applications were submitted to the Scottish Government Marine Directorate on 10 September 2025 (accompanied by the offshore EIAR), an EIA Addendum on offshore ornithology, marine mammals and blue carbon was submitted 27 February 2026, and the statutory public consultation on the additional information closed 28 April 2026. Determination by Scottish Ministers is now the critical-path activity ahead of FID. Year precision reflects the developer's target year without a more specific determination date.
