On 27 February 2026, Cerulean Winds Aspen Project Limited submitted additional environmental information for the Aspen Offshore Wind Farm to the Scottish Ministers, in the form of an Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Habitats Regulations Appraisal Addendum. This EIA addendum, which includes further detail on offshore ornithology, marine mammals and blue carbon, supplements the original EIA for the existing Section 36 and marine licence applications for the 1,000 MW project.
