On 16 March 2023, RTE confirmed the validation of the “fuseaux de moindre impact” (least-impact corridors) for the grid connection of the Centre-Manche 2 offshore wind farm. The decision was taken during the end-of-consultation meeting held under the authority of the prefect, concluding a public and stakeholder consultation phase on the routing options. Validation of these least-impact corridors defines the preferred onshore and offshore connection corridors that minimise environmental, technical, and social impacts, marking a key route-corridor engineering and selection milestone for the Centre-Manche 2 connection project.
