Phase 1 offshore construction for the Caledonia project, which includes installation of the offshore transmission system such as Offshore Substation Platforms and the Offshore Export Cable (OEC) circuits within the Offshore Export Cable Corridor between the array areas and the landfall site, is scheduled to start in 2028. This offshore construction commencement will initiate physical works at sea for the Caledonia Transmission export connection associated with the first project phase (either Caledonia North or Caledonia South).
