Wood Thilsted

Wood Thilsted was selected by Caledonia Offshore Windfarm (Ocean Winds’ 2 GW Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm in the Moray Firth) to develop the structural concept design for the project’s wind turbine foundations. The work used ground and metocean data gathered across the 429 km² site to model and assess preferred foundation concepts, supporting optimisation and de-risking of the foundation solution and enabling early engagement with the supply chain for future foundation fabrication and installation.
