Xodus Group prepared the Inspection, Repair & Maintenance (IRM) Plan for SSEN/SHE Transmission (document referenced as LT09 Shetland HVDC Link IRM Plan). The plan set out the periodic inspection regime, survey scope and condition‑based maintenance activities to ensure subsea cable protection and operability. The IRM plan referenced the use of Long‑Term Service Agreements with cable manufacturers for expedited repair preparedness and noted coordination with the existing Caithness-Moray circuit and associated marine survey data; Xodus therefore provided inspection planning and engineering consultancy linked to the wider transmission subsea cable network that includes the Caithness–Moray system.
