Description
The HVDC Centre provided real‑time simulation, control‑system validation and testing services for the Caithness‑Moray HVDC scheme. Using RDTS® simulation tools and Replicasoft control‑panel replicas, the Centre modelled multi‑terminal control behaviour and carried out EMT and RMS studies to validate performance, stability and protection interactions for the link and related AC network conditions. The work supported commissioning and operational assurance for multi‑terminal HVDC control functions.
