A further MMT survey was undertaken in 2012 (commissioned in 2011) to collect geophysical, geotechnical and environmental data and to reroute a section of the Caithness–Moray cable east around a Round 3 offshore wind farm site. The survey informed a revised route corridor and provided data used in detailed design and environmental assessment.
