Description
Semco Maritime was awarded a long-term balance-of-plant service contract for the Butendiek offshore wind farm under an agreement with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH & Co. KG, which held the main O&M contract towards OWP Butendiek GmbH & Co. KG. Semco Maritime’s scope included scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections above water on the offshore substation and its foundation as well as on the 80 wind turbine generator foundations, with operations mainly from Havneby (Rømø).
