Description
Draka was awarded a contract by the Dutch marine contractor Visser and Smit for the supply of medium-voltage submarine inter-array cables for the in-field connections of the 80 wind turbines at Offshore Wind Park Butendiek. The award formed part of Prysmian Group’s announced cable system contracts for Butendiek, with Draka supplying the MV inter-array cable system for the wind farm’s internal collection grid.
