Description
DONG Energy signed a contract with EEW SPC to supply 32 monopile foundations and associated transition pieces for the 258 MW Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farm in Liverpool Bay. The monopile foundations were to be fabricated at EEW SPC’s facility in Rostock, Germany, with transition piece manufacturing split between UK and Denmark facilities via project partners.
