By May 2015, DONG Energy had entered into a turbine supply agreement with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind for Burbo Bank Extension, confirming MHI Vestas as supplier of 32 V164-8.0 MW offshore wind turbines with blades manufactured on the Isle of Wight for the 258 MW project in Liverpool Bay.
