Phase 1 geotechnical investigations at the Burbo Bank Extension site, comprising GEO’s 2012 CPTs and vibrocores and Fugro’s 2012 deep boreholes, were completed with Fugro’s Engineering Geological Consultancy Study finalised on 17 April 2013, providing the project with a consolidated interpretation of subsurface conditions and confirming that this first survey phase was complete while a second, more detailed campaign was planned for 2013/2014.
