Gardline Geosurvey Limited began the first major geophysical survey campaign for Burbo Bank Extension in October 2010, covering the main wind farm site and an initial export cable route using multi-beam bathymetry, side-scan sonar and sub-bottom profiling to characterise seabed and sub-seabed conditions for the Environmental Statement and layout design.
