Description
ABB A/S supplied and installed two 220/34 kV 200 MVA power transformers on the Burbo Bank Extension offshore substation. As part of the OSS mechanical and electrical scope for the BBW02 transmission assets, ABB provided the main step‑down transformers and carried out their installation on the offshore platform, enabling transformation between the 34 kV array collection system and the 220 kV export voltage used to connect to the onshore grid.
