Following completion of the OFTO tender process for the Burbo Bank Extension transmission assets, Ofgem granted an offshore transmission licence, and the project is now recorded as a licensed OFTO operated by Diamond Transmission Partners BBE Limited. Under this licence, the OFTO is entitled to a guaranteed 20-year regulated revenue stream for owning and operating the Burbo Bank Extension export and onshore grid connection assets, subject to asset availability.
