On 25 March 2013, DONG Energy Burbo Extension (UK) Limited submitted an Environmental Statement covering both the English and Welsh components of the Burbo Bank Extension export cable project alongside a Marine Licence application for the offshore electricity export cable and the onshore River Clwyd cable crossing, in accordance with the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007.
