Description
BW Ideol provided its patented Damping Pool® floating foundation technology for the Buchan Offshore Wind floating wind farm (ScotWind NE8). The project selected BW Ideol’s Damping Pool concrete floating substructures as its preferred floating foundation concept, with plans for serial production/manufacture in Scotland, including BW Ideol’s work to establish a manufacturing centre at the Ardersier Energy Transition Facility (Port of Ardersier). The project design envelope indicated up to 70 concrete Damping Pool floating substructures.
